SocialFam.NET, is a personal, privately run family social network, intended for internal use and no public access. Members can only join through private invitation. SocialFam.NET was developed through the open source software 'OpenSource Social Network' is customized for the purpose of allowing family members and friends to interact together in their own small community without outside interference, advertisements, news, random strangers and bloatware. Our desire is to provide a simple social network without thousands of hidden settings and difficulty for maintaining privacy. By default, upon signing up, your news feed only contains posts from your friends and not from other users you have not accepted as a friend. We strive to maintain a family friend atmosphere, therefore our system contains no advertisements and remains with the basic functions needed to interact with your loved ones and to stay in touch.
